With over 10 years in the woods, during the planting season, Tyler oversees the contract as Project Manager. Spends his winters froliking in the snow running a Cone Picking crew. Crew Leader during fire season for Mop-up crews. One thing he couldn't live without - Music.
Fiddler of stringed instruments. Don't be surprised if you catch him singing in the office.
Cynthia has been at Rhino since 2015, after planting and running a crew she became the company checker. She enjoys her winters in Mexico and is a key component of the health and safety program.
Hi I'm Ryan! Remember to plant quality trees, don't take long cache breaks, and most importantly: only good vibes on this side baby! I've been a foreman for 8 years and love the job more and more every season that passes.
I found my home with Rhino four years ago and can’t wait to return to the management team. I grew up in southwestern Ontario and although I miss all the lakes, and portaging around, this new home in the mountains is pretty alright. I enjoy solving problems before they come but still letting life be an adventure, looking forward to the memories and lessons in the coming years.
I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and moved to Canada to pursue my studies. I now reside in Gatineau Quebec.
I love working outdoors and all sorts of physical activity.

I started working at Rhino as a Planter in 2009 and played many roles over the years as Rookie trainer, driver and assistant foreman. In 2016 I decided it was time to hang up my bags and start Crew bossing full time, I enjoy the everyday challenges and look forward to an awesome 2023 season.

I studied both human and plant genetics and development, and I think about this all the time while planting: how both trees and planters change and become. I am immensely looking forward to helping planters do this in the best way possible, in my first season as a crewboss. I don't know whether I like planting or stopping planting to look at rocks and mushrooms and mutant plants more, and look forward to encouraging this delinquency in others. I like the opportunity planting gives me to be an athlete, I like all arts, I like to make people laugh, and I like to make up planting parody songs, with a rich discography including: My Stumps, Plot it Like it's Hot, I've Got Burrs, Woodtick Tok, and He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother (Soggy Little Seedlings)."

Hey there, my names is Saul, but people often call me Sully! I decided to make a major change in my lifestyle when the pandemic started. Transitioning from playing high-level sports and academics to digging my roots out in the vast Canadian wilderness. Originally from southern Ontario, it’s been a constant calling to migrate West since I laid my eyes on the Rockies. I take a lot of pride in planting good quality trees while enjoying life in the woods. I love the opportunity in this company. Rhino Reforestation is the place to be, with lots of opportunities in the forestry sector. Stay golden and happy trails :)
With 29 laps around the sun, and 14 years of experience in Professional Kitchens, I’ve never appreciated cooking more than I do in camp with Rhino Reforestation. Returning for my 7th season, the excitement builds every year. How spoiled I am to have a second family. I love Music, community, and feeding Hippies. Bless ups.
Gabs is super excited to be joining Rhino this summer as an assistant cook. Her dream for the season is to have her first moose sighting (from a safe distance, of course). Indeed, in her 24 years of life in Canada, she's never spotted our nation's gangliest ruminant. Other than wildlife, she loves tasty soups, rocky mountains, and most importantly, keeping planters well fed!
Stuart is a swiss army knife with skills and decades of forestry experience. Stu Macdonald is proud to be a lifelong silviculture worker, with happy little trees(and some bigger now) all over the province. "Hailing from Vancouver Island, I am really pleased to be part of the Rhino team this year. Unbridled enthusiasm and realistic optimism always win through!"
